Common questions about managed vending placement, equipment, payments, products, and support. Details like exact machines, payment hardware, product mix, restocking cadence, and service coverage are confirmed case by case after we review your location.
Placement and service
Is vending machine placement free for every Utah business?
No. Free placement is available only to qualifying Utah business locations after Rocky Mountain Vending reviews the request. Fit depends on expected use, available space, access, product demand, and current route coverage. Submitting a request starts a review; it is not a guarantee of placement.
How do you decide whether a location qualifies?
We look at the location type, the number of people who would use the machine, operating hours, safe and practical space, building access, electrical needs, the desired product mix, and whether the address fits an active route. We share the outcome after reviewing the details.
Who stocks and services a managed machine?
For an approved managed placement, Rocky Mountain Vending handles product stocking and routine machine service. The exact setup, including restocking cadence and service responsibilities, is confirmed for each location during the review.
What parts of Utah do you serve?
The current service-area pages cover listed cities in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Utah counties. Coverage depends on the exact address, the service requested, and current routing. If your address is near a route but not listed, contact the team to confirm.
Equipment and payments
What types of machines can a business request?
Depending on fit and availability, a location may be considered for snack, beverage, combination, coffee-vending, or micro-market options. Exact machines, configurations, and installation timing are confirmed case by case after the review.
What payment options are available?
Available setups may support cash, card, and mobile payments depending on the equipment and payment hardware, and compatibility is confirmed for each location. We will never ask for card numbers or sensitive payment details to review a placement request.
Can I buy a machine instead of requesting placement?
Yes. Businesses interested in owning equipment can ask about machines for sale, including type, condition, payment hardware, and installation planning. Sales and managed placement are separate paths.
Products and support
What products can be offered?
Product categories are planned around the location and available equipment, and may include traditional snacks and drinks as well as healthier choices. No specific product is guaranteed before review, and the final mix is confirmed case by case.
What if a product did not dispense or was expired?
Tell us the machine location, the selection number, and include a photo when possible. We review the report and address the affected machine or product. We do not promise a specific refund, replacement, or response time before the details are reviewed.
What if a machine needs repair or moving?
Use the repair page to share the brand, model, symptoms, and location, or the moving page to share the machine type, route, and access details. Availability and scheduling are confirmed after the request is reviewed.
