Single Selection Motor Failure Diagnostic
This procedure is designed to isolate the cause when only one specific product selection fails to dispense, while all other selections operate normally.
Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.
- Motor housing is hot or smells burnt: Disconnect power and do not re-energize motor until inspected
- Multiple motors failing simultaneously: Escalate – may indicate controller or power supply issue
- If the motor test fails to cycle or if electrical testing is required on the motor circuit, contact a qualified technician immediately.
- If multiple motors are suspected of failure, a qualified technician must assess the main power supply and controller output signals.
