  • Evidence of refrigerant leak, compressor mechanical failure, or sealed-system component fault: Stop. Do not attempt sealed-system repair. Tag machine and escalate to manufacturer-authorized or licensed refrigeration technician.
  • Compressor casing extremely hot or thermal overload tripping repeatedly: Unplug machine. Allow compressor to cool. If it trips again on restart, escalate to technician-advanced.
