Internal Power Diagnosis

This procedure helps determine if the unit is receiving power correctly from its internal components, assuming the main power source is confirmed functional.

Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.

  • Burning smell or visible scorching detected: Stop immediately. Do not apply power. Tag machine out of service and escalate to supervisor.
  • Fuse blows again after replacement: Do not repeat fuse replacement. Indicates a short circuit requiring advanced diagnosis. Escalate.
  • If the fuse blows again after replacement, do not attempt further replacements; this requires a qualified technician to diagnose a short circuit.
  • If visible scorching or melting is found, immediately tag the unit out of service and contact a qualified technician for electrical diagnosis.
