  • Compressor casing extremely hot and clicking sound heard: Stop. Compressor may be seized or start device failed. Do not continue cycling power. Escalate to refrigeration technician.
  • Visible oil leak on refrigerant lines: Stop. Refrigerant leak suspected. Sealed-system repair required by licensed technician.
