Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.

  • Motor harness melted or burnt at connector: Disconnect power. Do not re-energize motor circuit until harness and connector replaced and cause determined.

    Check Main Fuse or Circuit Breaker

    Locate the main fuse holder or circuit breaker on the machine. With power disconnected, remove and inspect the fuse. If a breaker, verify its position.

    • Fuse holder shows heat damage — replace fuse holder before installing new fuse.

    Expected: Fuse element is intact, or breaker is in the ON position.
