Power-On Diagnostic
This diagnostic sequence systematically checks the machine's electrical path, starting from the wall outlet all the way to the main controller, to determine why the unit appears completely inactive.
Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.
- Main fuse blows more than once after correct replacement: Stop all power-on testing. Tag machine out of service. Escalate to qualified technician for short-circuit location.
- Any burning smell detected during power-on testing: Unplug immediately. Do not re-energize. Tag machine out of service. Escalate to qualified technician.
- If the main fuse blows more than once after correct replacement, stop all power-on testing and tag the machine out of service; escalate to a qualified technician for short-circuit location.
- If any burning smell is detected during power-on testing, unplug immediately, do not re-energize, and tag the machine out of service; escalate to a qualified technician.
