Single Column Motor Diagnostic
This diagnostic procedure helps pinpoint if a vending failure is isolated to a specific motor, its associated wiring, or a mechanical obstruction within one product column.
Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.
- Motor shows signs of overheating, burning smell, or physical damage: Disconnect motor immediately. Replace before further use.
- If the motor shows signs of overheating or burning, immediately disconnect power and escalate this to a qualified technician for motor replacement.
- If the motor wiring harness appears damaged, escalate this to a qualified technician to inspect and replace the wiring harness.
- If the mechanical jam cannot be cleared by hand, escalate this to a qualified technician for disassembly and inspection.
