Warm Product Temperature Diagnosis
A diagnostic flow for identifying why product temperature is above expected range, covering airflow, sealing, condenser condition, and compressor operation. Sealed-system work is restricted to manufacturer-licensed service.
Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.
- Compressor does not start or draws excessive current: Do not attempt sealed-system work. Hand off to manufacturer-licensed refrigeration technician.
- Frost buildup on evaporator while suction line is warm: Possible restricted metering device or low charge. Requires licensed sealed-system diagnosis.
- Oil residue visible at any sealed-system fitting: Refrigerant leak suspected. Stop and hand off to licensed technician immediately.
