Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.

  • Water contacts electrical components: Stop immediately. Disconnect power. Do not restore until area dry and leak resolved.
  • Bulkhead plate damaged during adaptor removal: Stop. Do not install new adaptor on damaged bulkhead. Assess repair options.
  • Fitting cross-threaded during assembly: Stop. Back off immediately. Inspect both threads. Replace damaged components before retrying.
