Selection Made but Product Does Not Dispense

This procedure isolates the failure point when a selection is registered but the product fails to exit the machine, checking mechanical, electrical, and product loading aspects.

Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.

  • Motor buzzing but not turning: Unplug to prevent motor burnout. Investigate mechanical binding before re-energizing.
  • Multiple motors failing simultaneously: Likely a common cause (power supply, controller, main harness). Stop individual motor testing and investigate shared circuits.
  • If the issue requires testing or resetting the motor circuits, or if the investigation requires accessing the main power supply or controller board, a qualified technician must perform these steps.
  • If multiple motors are suspected to be failing due to a shared circuit issue, investigation of the main wiring harness requires a qualified technician.

Where to find this

Use this as orientation before touching the machine. It is location help, not a repair instruction.

Vend Motors

Start at the customer delivery bin and product drop path; clear visible product and debris before moving to internal checks.

  • Drive the product coils to push selected items from the tray to the delivery area.
  • Individual vend motors per selection
  • Motor harness connectors
  • Motor mounting brackets

Do not open energized or protected electrical areas unless a qualified technician or licensed electrician is handling the work.
