Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.

  • Line voltage measured on low-voltage side: Stop immediately. Escalate to technician-advanced. Possible power supply failure routing line voltage incorrectly.
  • Burning smell or visible damage: Disconnect power. Do not re-energize. Escalate to technician-advanced.
  • If line voltage is measured on the low-voltage side, stop immediately and escalate to a qualified technician.
  • If a burning smell or visible damage is present, disconnect power and escalate to a qualified technician.
