Warm Products — Refrigeration Diagnostic

Systematically check door seal, airflow, condenser cleanliness, compressor operation, and temperature sensing before considering any sealed-system involvement.

Qualified technician handoff: stop before live electrical testing, sealed-system refrigeration work, compressor service, or protected-compartment access unless a qualified technician is handling the work.

  • Oil residue found near compressor or refrigerant lines: Suspected refrigerant leak. Do not attempt repair. Contact manufacturer-licensed service immediately.
  • Compressor makes loud clicking or grinding noise: Stop running compressor. Unplug machine. Escalate to manufacturer service.
  • Evaporator completely iced solid blocking all airflow: Defrost manually with machine off and door open. Do not use sharp tools or heat guns. Investigate door seal and defrost controls before restarting.

Check Main Fuse or Circuit Protection

    operator-intermediateunplugged

With machine unplugged, locate the main fuse or circuit-protection device. Remove and visually inspect. If a multimeter is available, check continuity across the fuse.

    Stop conditions
    • Fuse is blackened or exploded — indicates serious short downstream. Do not replace fuse until short is located.

Expected: Fuse shows continuity and no visible signs of failure (darkened glass, broken element).
